Lappish autumn starts at the end of August and lasts untill the beginning of October. It is called ruska in Finland, and for a lot of finns, it is the best time of the year.
The Nature is at its best during the ruska : the colors of the forest are amazings with gold, purple, yellow, quite often outlined by grey skies ... berries and mushrooms are everywhere to be picked by the passer-by, animals are very active, getting ready for the long winter, and therefore are relatively easy to see.
Check at the top of this paragraph, our land, water, or even our brand new wooden raft programs, and join us to enjoy the wonders of the lappish ruska!
"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds
in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover."
