Arctic Horizons

The price of Arctic Horizons activities are calculated in a way to make it possible to operate with very small groups of participants for each program. The fixed part represents basically the gross salary of the guide, the variable part is related with the expenses, the rental gear, the travel cost...

If you compare with main stream companies, the prices of Arctic Horizons are more expensive if you are 1 or 2 participants for a given program, but then, you are not mixed with 8-10 persons that you don´t know, speaking different languages, in completely different physical shape, and each with different expectations ! And if you are 3 or more (like a family, a group of friends, or even if you invite some people you just met in Luosto in order to share the costs of a program), then, Arctic Horizons programs are much cheaper than the big companies! 

BOOKING : You will not find any online payment on this website, but if you are interested by any of my programs, contact me (preferably by email), and I will reserve a day or half a day for you.

I send you the bank credentials of Arctic Horizons (IBAN, BIC...) and once the payment is done, it counts as an official booking. If you change your plans, you can cancel the deal and you will get a full refund until 5 days before the date of the program. 

I recommand to book in advance, as I work on a first-come, first-served basis, and I am alone to run the company.

PAYMENT "on the spot": If you are already in Luosto, or if you don't like to book your programs in advance. just phone or contact me by email (always better, because I don't answer the phone if I am already with a group). Like quite many of the private/independant guides of the area, if you buy the program "on the spot" (from Luosto), I take only cash payments. My office is not located in Luosto, and credit cards terminals don't like to wait in a frozen car for hours, while we are out, enjoying the Lappish wilderness...

There is no ATM in Luosto, but the local supermarket usually accept to convert visa card payment into cash.
